PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Katie is a native of the Tampa Bay area and has over twenty-three years of architectural experience. She has been an integral part of Horton, Harley & Carter, Inc. since 1997. After starting as a drafter, she quickly moved to project management and became a Vice President in May of 2012. She is involved in all aspects of a building’s design and management. Katie is directly involved from master planning and schematic design, through construction documents and construction administration; she has over six million square feet of project experience.
Katie is excellent at building relationships with General Contractors and Developers who repeatedly request that she lead their project teams. She has a strong ability to organize all aspects of the project and use resources inside and outside of the design team to come up with creative solutions to fit the clients specific needs. In addition to her architectural duties, she also designs and maintains the company websites and creates in-house training for advancement in CAD technologies.
