Roth Farms Processing Facility,
design/build, Edwards Construction, Belle Glade, Florida |
105,000 SF insulated tilt-wall, refrigerated
vegetable processing facility for Green Beans, Radishes, Corn, Parsley &
other vegetables; includes operations from unloading field trucks to
completed produce dep’t. shelf-ready packaging. Project includes
hydro-coolers, vacuum tubes, sorting, processing and packaging equipment,
offices, employee break rooms and food prep wash areas. Our scope included
schematic planning, permit and construction documents and limited
construction administration.

Initially a 120,000 SF +/- vegetable processing facility (corn, green
beans & radishes), reduced to a 35,000 SF insulated tilt-wall, refrigerated
Corn Tray-Pack facility. Scope included operations from unloading field
trucks to completed tray-pak operations & cold storage. Our scope includes
schematic planning, permit and construction documents and limited
construction administration.

Pero Vegetables Corporate Offices &
Cold Storage, design/build, Edwards Construction, Delray Beach, Florida |
134,000 SF expansion project included 42,000 SF
of two-story Class ‘A’ Corporate Offices and 88,500 SF of insulated
tilt-wall, refrigerated hi-bay cold storage for vegetables, primarily
peppers. Our scope included schematic planning, permit and construction
documents and limited construction administration.

A new 97,000 SF+/- facility for processing
lettuce from field trucks into vacuum tubes, and cold storage and packaging
process rooms. The building was constructed using perimeter insulated
tilt-wall panels, and interior liner panels. A two-story office included
management offices, employee break rooms and locker rooms, quality control
labs and shipping offices. A dry storage area is designed for cold
storage/process conversion and the whole building/site is designed for
expansion.

Renovation/Expansion, design/build, Edwards Construction, Orlando, Florida |
Major Renovations of a vegetable processing
facility that included re-working the break room area and creating a new
covered break area, relocating the Onion Line and expanding the Cold Storage
areas; also provided some new finishes for the office area. The facility
remained in operation during theses renovations.

Distribution Facility, design/build, Edwards Construction, Orlando, Florida |
55,000 SF insulated tilt-wall, spice storage &
distribution facility includes 22,000 SF six-compartment freezer, and
operating offices. Our scope included schematic planning, permit and
construction documents and limited construction administration.

Domino's Pizza Regional
Dough-Making & Distribution Facility, Inc., design/build, Edwards Construction,
Atlanta, Georgia |
A new 50,000 SF+/- facility for processing dough
for distribution to regional retail outlets; also distributed other food and
foodservice products from this facility; also included a tray
wash/sanitizing area for recycled dough trays. The building was constructed
using insulated tilt-wall panels, and interior liner panels. A one-story
office included management offices, employee break rooms and locker rooms,
quality control labs and shipping offices.

Major Renovation/Conversion of an existing
pre-engineered warehouse for Anhueser- Busch beer distributor including a
35,000 SF Controlled Environment Warehouse , a 5,000 SF Draft
Cooler and a 2,000 SF custom finish “Hospitality Room”. The facility
remained in operation during the renovation.

Construction Company, Orlando, Florida |
152,500 SF build-to-suit beer distribution
facility for Anhueser-Busch products. The project included 20,160 SF of
office, 112,300 SF of C.E.W. /warehouse and utilized the Thermo-mass
insulated tilt-wall system. HHC worked with the Design Builder, local owner
and A-B during the design process.

Schenck Distribution Facility,
Design Build, Williams Company, Orlando, Florida. |
300,000 SF build-to-suit beer distribution
facility for Coors & Miller products as well as an array of domestic and
imported brands. The project includes a 34,000 SF cooler and 30,000
two-story office component. Building is 28’ clear, concrete tilt-up
construction with architectural treatments and features at office entry.

28,000 SF two story build-to-suit corporate
office building with high-end interior finishes. Building is of concrete
tilt-up construction.

Major Design/Build expansion for a regional food
distribution company that includes 24,000 SF of two-story office space,
14,000 SF of 28 degree F cooler, and 58,000 SF of 37’ clear dry warehouse as
well as renovating 24,000 of existing office space and 6,000 SF of
warehouse operations offices.

220,000 SF build-to-suit wine and spirits
distribution facility that included both ambient and cold storage, 25,000 SF
of two-story office and a temperature/humidity controlled environment for
part of the warehouse; coordinated w/ user materials handling system.

Expansion, Check-In Canopy & Truck Maintenance Facility, Current Builders,
Orlando, Florida |
138,000 SF tilt-wall Expansion of an existing
warehouse for beverage distributor; scope also included a new three-bay
check-in/check out canopy and a new two-bay free-standing service facility.
The facility remained in operation during the expansion.

36,250 SF tilt-wall Expansion of an existing
warehouse for beverage distributor, included adding two recessed receiving
truck-wells. The facility remained in operation during the renovation.

Dairy-Mix Addition/Renovation, The
Perry Company, St. Petersburg, Florida |
16,000 SF addition to bulk milk-shake
manufacturing facility; renovation of existing warehouse and minor office
renovation. This project utilized Thermo-mass insulated tilt-wall
construction, block construction in extremely tight site constraints.
Facility remained operational during expansion/renovation.

Major Design/Build expansion for a
regional food distribution company that includes 24,000 SF of two-story office
space, 14,000 SF of 28 degree F cooler, and 58,000 SF of 37’clear dry warehouse
as well as renovating 24,000 of existing office space and 6,000 SF of warehouse
operations offices….plant & offices operated during all 6 phases of 14 month
construction.

Major
Renovation/Conversion of an existing pre-engineered warehouse for Anhueser-Busch

Room”………all constructed on-site with high volume operations on-going. The
refrigerated areas were built with prefabricated insulated metal wall/ceiling
panels.

that is approximately 9,450 GSF; a 9,112 SF 32F degree freezer; a 9,112 SF 28F

using tilt-wall construction.

Company, Orlando, Florida |
Design/Build to suit for Schenck Company approximately 300,000 SF
distribution facility with 41,257 SF of refrigerated cooler space and a 30,000
SF corporated office building. The air conditioned and refrigerated portion of
warehouse facility was built using thermo mass insulated tilt-wall construction.
